From the chefs behind London restaurant Wild By Tart, the new bottle will be available nationwide in Sainsbury’s, ASDA & Morrisons

Tart London, the culinary duo behind Belgravia restaurant Wild By Tart, founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison are launching a new limited edition design gin in partnership with the Kent-based craft gin, Bathtub.

Inspired by the ‘folkloric beauty of British winter’ in collaboration with The design reimagines Bathtub Gin’s signature brown paper wrap with a woodland-inspired scene of hares, birds, serpents and crescent moons, drawing on themes of Britain’s native wilderness and yuletide folklore. It will be available nationwide from 13 November across Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons (RRP £33.50).

The collaboration forms part of Bathtub Gin’s wider campaign positioning the brand as the gin of hosting, following earlier limited edition design bottles with ceramicist Harlie Brown and Belgravia in Bloom.

Founded in 2012, Tart London began as a bespoke catering company and has since expanded into events, styling, cookbooks and homeware. Jones and Carr-Ellison are also behind Wild by Tart, their Belgravia restaurant known for seasonal menus, bold flavours and a stylish approach to entertaining. They bring this same ethos to the collaboration, combining their reputation for hospitality with Bathtub Gin’s craft credentials.

Inside remains Bathtub Gin’s award-winning liquid, produced in Kent, copper pot distilled and double infused with botanicals for bold flavour.

Hannah Burden-Teh, Brand Director for Bathtub Gin, said:

“The brown paper wrap has always been a signature part of Bathtub Gin, and it lends itself perfectly to creative collaborations. It gives us a canvas to partner with exciting names like Tart London and bring something new to our loyal customers.

“This year’s design launches just in time for the gifting season and offers something unique and collectible. We regularly hear from customers who upcycle their Bathtub bottles as candle holders, vases or even wedding centrepieces, so limited editions like this are about giving them something extra special to enjoy and to keep.”

Jemima Jones &  Lucy Carr-Ellison of Tart London said:

“We wanted the bottle to touch on British heritage and the wilderness of our native landscapes. The design carries you on a dreamlike journey through night skies and nature, weaving together beauty, imagination and folklore, where heritage, nature and imagination come together under the stars.”

“Bathtub Gin’s paper wrap gave us the perfect canvas to bring that vision to life. The result is something we’d love to see at the centre of a table, a bottle that works as beautifully for hosting as it does for gifting over the season.”

The Bathtub Gin x Tart London limited edition will be rolled out nationwide from 13 November at an RRP of £33.50 in Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons. It is available online at Master of Malt
